The pricing model was based on paid subscriptions, with the option of a one-time payment for certain plans, as well as the ability to purchase additional credits for services such as image generation and speech-to-text conversion. Payments were made via PayPal; however, it is currently not possible to purchase any plans because the service has been officially shut down. A free trial was previously available, which included 5,000 words, 5 image generation credits, and over 70 templates. A credit card was not required to start the trial; however, the service is currently suspended, so it is not possible to start the trial at this time. The previous information about the free trial was published on the official FAQ page. As for the paid plans, the Basic plan was priced at $2.99 per month and offered 50,000 word credits per month and 50 image generation operations, according to an older review page. The Pro plan was priced at $5.99 per month, offering 350,000 word credits and 100 image generation requests, while the Ultimate plan was priced at $9.99 per month, offering 1,000,000 word credits and 150 image generation requests. A price of $9.99 per month was later announced for the Typeboss service with unlimited usage via BYOK, according to an official article published in 2025. BYOK refers to using the user’s own API key to obtain unlimited generation, according to the published information; however, all subscriptions were canceled following the platform’s shutdown, and it is currently not possible to subscribe. The old prices for Basic, Pro, and Ultimate are listed in the Typeboss review, while the most recent official source, published in 2025, mentioned a price of $9.99 per month with BYOK; therefore, these prices should not be considered a current offer.
