The pricing model is based on a monthly or annual subscription per user, with the option to start for free for basic access. The free Teams Free plan includes up to 60 minutes of video calls, unlimited chat and messaging, file and photo sharing, and collaboration on projects via integrated apps, with limited access to some advanced features such as Webinars and Breakout Rooms. Paid plans include Microsoft Teams Essentials at $4 per user per month when paying annually (most popular), Microsoft 365 Business Basic at $6, and Microsoft 365 Business Standard at $12.50 per user per month, with all basic and advanced features such as chat, calls, video conferencing, file and task sharing, meeting recording with Transcripts and Live Captions, guest access, custom backgrounds, Together Mode, Immersive Spaces, Meeting Avatars, noise reduction, Whiteboard tools, Breakout Rooms, webinars with recording and reports, as well as full integration with Microsoft productivity apps.
