Finest is an AI Gateway designed to reduce the cost of using AI models within applications, while maintaining the quality level specified by the user. The platform measures the actual needs of each request, then identifies the appropriate model or set of models for each request, and automatically routes the request to the lowest-cost configuration that meets the specified quality requirements. Paid based on actual savings, with no fees charged when no qualifying savings are achieved. Finest explains that model providers’ prices are passed on without markup, while the platform receives 25% of the savings it verifies when a request is directed to a lower-cost option that meets the required conditions. Orders that do not result in savings, are executed exactly as requested by the user, involve an escalation, or result from an automatic selection that does not yield a qualifying savings are not subject to a performance fee.

Cost: There are no fees when no qualifying savings are realized, and you can start using Finest at no cost if the service does not generate any savings.

Template Prices: Template providers’ prices are passed through as-is without any markup from Finest.

Performance Fees: Finest receives 25% of the value of eligible savings it verifies when it successfully routes a request to a lower-cost option.

When No Savings Are Achieved: No performance fees are charged for requests that do not generate eligible savings.

Finest API: A fee of 25% of eligible savings is charged. The API portal automatically routes requests to the appropriate, lowest-cost templates without adding any markup to the template providers’ prices.

Finest Code: A fee of 25% of eligible savings is charged according to the Finest mechanism. This option is designed to reduce the cost of the Claude Code API while maintaining the Claude Code experience and providing order receipts.
